MINI² - Die ComMINIty

Hello,

My name is John Feole. I am a MINI Cooper owner.

I have recently created the Blue Marble Yearbook: an international register and photo journal for the MINI Cooper enthusiast. It is a place for owners from all over the world to send pictures of their MINI's. The best photos will appear in our annual "yearbook". Prizes will be awarded to the best photos.

We have not yet translated our site in to other languages but plan to do so. Until then we are using BABELFISH.com to do our translations. I apologize if the translation is not accurate. We have over 600 visitors from around the world. Come give us a look.

How did you find the way to a German forum :frage:
Are there already a collection of pics that you received? I only saw a couple
in your galery (most probably your own MINI ? but awesome).
I like your sticker, nice design...
I wanted to register on your page but I discovered that the telephon number is a required field
....hmmmm...you have to know that the German are a bit sceptic
if they have to provide to much personal information...just our behavior.

Gibt es bereits eine Ansammlung pics, die Sie empfingen? Ich sah nur ein Paar in Ihrem galery (vermutlich Ihr eigenes MINI? aber ehrfürchtig). Ich mag Ihren Aufkleber, nettes Design... Ich wollte auf Ihrer Seite registrieren, aber ich entdeckte, daß die telephon Zahl erfordert auffangen....hmmmm ist..., das Sie wissen müssen, daß der Deutsche ein Spitze Sceptic sind, wenn sie zu vielen persönlichen Informationen... gerade unser Verhalten zur Verfügung stellen müssen...gerade unser Verhalten.

Ich benötige wirklich nur eine e Post oder eine Telefonnummer, damit ich mit Ihnen in Verbindung treten kann, wenn wir planen, Ihre Abbildung zu veröffentlichen. Ich ändere dieses auf der Web site in den folgenden zwei Wochen. Wir haben über 130 Abbildungen von USA, Großbritannien, Irland, Kanada empfangen. Wir würden lieben, Deutschland teilnehmen zu lassen. Ich bin ein sehr großer BMW Ventilator und fahre einen BMW 1974 2002 außerdem. Kann nicht jene deutschen Autos schlagen. Ich bin ein sehr großer Williams F1 Ventilator auch! Die Galerie ist jetzt klein. Ich plane, die besten Fotos im Buch zu veröffentlichen. Der Rest erscheint auf dem Internet durch Jahrende. Geben Sie oben nicht auf uns. Sehen ich wünsche die Welt, wo der ganzer MINIENTHUSIAST von sind. Es ist solch eine nette Gruppe Leute. Informieren Sie mich, wenn Sie andere Ideen haben, die uns helfen würden, Mitgliedschaft aus Deutschland zu gewinnen!!!

THanks for the note. I am glad you asked about the phone number. I really only need an e mail or a phone number so that I can contact you if we plan to publish your picture. I will change this on the web site in the next two weeks.

We have received over 130 pictures from USA, UK, Ireland, Canada. We would love to have Germany participate. I am a huge BMW fan and drive a 1974 BMW 2002 as well. Can't beat those german cars. I am a huge Williams F1 fan too! The gallery is small now. I plan to publish the best photos in the book. The rest will appear on the internet by year end.

Don't give up on us. I want the world to see where all the MINI enthusiast are from. It is such a nice group of people.

Let me know if you have other ideas that would help us gain membership from Germany!!!

and nice idea with the yearbook , as soon as I can get my hands on a digi-cam you´ll have pictures of my baby as well

well, it turned out the other day that I will be the one who's gonna get the free sticker
...and as a countermove, john had to promise me to ditch the german translations

I appreciate your work very much and I'd like to encourage you to proceed with your project. I hope the book will be available soon. I will email you my contributions as soon I have taken some more photos

john is still working on both structure and content of his yearbook. by now, the book is thought to be containing 1. photos and 2. driver profiles. he intends to obtain at least one photo from each country in the world
in case there are any kind of suggestions from you about how to make the result even more attractive, please do not hesitate to post your ideas right here


in fact, john is very interested in what we think about the project and he will pick up our propositions as the book is still evolving and he'd love to see some more of our german minis registered...
