im Zusammenhang von Mini United wird auch eine Oxford Plant Tour angeboten. Hat jemand mehr Infos, wie die aus dem Presseclub ? Hierzu muss ja eine Fähre ab Amsterdam gebucht werden Das könnte ich mir vorstellen am Samstag noch mit einzubauen.

welcher presseclub? wie soll das ablaufen? samstag amsterdam - oxford und zurück? da bekommt man ja gar nichts vom event mit
generell kann man festhalten: eine werksbesichtigung macht spaß. ich habe 2004 an einer der ersten touren teilnehmen dürfen.

das kann ich mir wirklich nicht vorstellen, von frankreich aus durch den tunnel das könnte klappen aber von amsterdam nach england mit der fähre dauert seine 15 stunden

Ich schätze, es wird nach Oxford geflogen..
...und mit dem auto von (z.b.) dover nach oxford über den autobahnring von london dauert auch in der regel länger, als man dafür plant

Hallo,
dann müsste es ja eine Fähre ab Amsterdam nach Ipswich oder so geben. Wie lange wäre in etwa die einfache Fahrstrecke ?
Bin ich gerade ma klären, hier schon mal die erste Antwort von BMW. Diese Nachricht kam nach meiner Vorab - Anmeldung. Steht noch nix dabei wie man da hinkommt.... nur wie lang die Führung dauert!

MINI Plant Oxford offers special plant tours for MINI UNITED visitors in the week from 18-23 June.
We can offer you the following time slots:
Thursday, 21 June 13:30pm
Thursday, 21 June 19:00pm
Friday, 22 June 12:45pm
Friday, 22 June 19:30pm
Saturday, 23 June 9:15am
Saturday, 23 June 12:45pm
The further booking process is the following:
Please let us know which tour you would like to book and confirm us the number of persons who want to go on a plant tour.
Besides, we need your contact details; most importantly including a contact telephone number, in case something changes unexpectedly.
As soon as we get this, we'll process the information and send you a reservation for the tour you have requested and ask you to return a questionnaire that also serves as final confirmation for the tour.
However, please take note of the following more general information regarding our plant tours:
• The tour takes approximately 2.5hrs
• We generally charge a fee of £7, whereas students and pensioners have to pay £5
• A booking has to be made prior to the visit. After requesting a possible date, we send you a reservation for the tour, asking you to return a questionnaire that serves as a confirmation. As soon as we receive that questionnaire you be provided with a final letter of confirmation from our side
• Due to health and safety reasons children below the age of 14 are not allowed on site
• People with heart pacemakers will not be able to join a tour as our robots can interfere with the pacemaker
• Visitors should wear comfortable shoes for the tour. No open-toe shoes, sandals or high-heels are permitted
• The tour language will be English and all tours will be accompanied by trained tour guides.
