Hallo,
nach einigem Suchen in den alten Seiten bin nicht viel schlauer geworden. Darum hier ein Frage zum Schlüssel bzw. der Fernbedienung zu meinem Cooper von 2004
Der Schlüssel funktioniert soweit. Aufschliessen, anlassen, abschliessen alles kein Problem.
Die Fernbedienung zeigt auch nach Batteriewechsel keine Reaktion und auch ein Initialisieren (Anleitung habe ich hier aus dem Forum) brachte keinen Erfolg.
Einen neuen Schlüssel auf Verdacht kaufen?
Kann ich testen, ob der Funkempfänger funktioniert?

Hat der Schlüssel (in deinem Besitz) denn schon mal funktioniert?
Also ehe ich auf Verdacht und teuer einen neuen kaufen würde, würd ich im Zweifel (falls hier nicht einer eine zündende Idee hat), erst mal den Freundlichen fragen, was das sein kann, möglicherweise gibts ja dann einen auf Kulanz?
Ich habe den Schlüssel so übernommen und ich dachte die Batterie sei leer weil er ansonsten funktioniert. Zum freundlichen fahre ich ungern, mache sonst auch immer alles alleine an den Autos. Aber ich kann ja mal vorstellig werden.
Initialisierung hast du alle möglichen Wege ausprobiert die es hier im Forum so gibt?
Ohne Hardware/Software wirst du da wohl nicht weiter kommen, wenn die Initialisierung echt nicht geht.
Anbei nochmal 2 Anleitungen.

If that doesn't work, try this:

2. Insert key into ingnition.
3. Turn key almost to the point of starting and back 4 times.
4. Remove key.
5. Hold down the "unlock" button on the key and push the center "lock" button on the key three times, releasing the unclock button on the key as you release the last of the three "lock" pushes.
The doors should lock and unlock. All done.

You may find that your remote has stopped responding to your car. In the event that this happens, or if you need to pair the remote to you car for any reason, the following is the procedure. It took me about 10 tries to get this to work, so you may have to keep trying. For the two remotes I paired using this procedure, step 4 did not cause the doors to lock/unlock. I had to hit buttons in order to tell that the remote had been initialized. I found two procedures, so you may have luck with one and not the other. Try both if necessary, and try them several times if necessary.
The Pairing procedures as stated in documentation from Mini with some input be me are as follows:
Procedure #1.
1.) Unlock vehicle via central locking and close driver's and passenger's doors. (Central locking is the console switch under the radio)
2.) Switch the ignition switch to KL-R (first turn), switch back off within 5 seconds and remove the key
3.) Within 30 seconds, press and hold the unlock button and at the same time, press and release the lock button (3) times. (Must be completed within 10 seconds)
4.) Release both buttons. The doors will lock/unlock to signal a successful initialization.
5.) If additional keys need to be initialized, repeat steps 3-4 within 30 seconds
6.) Switching the ignition to KL-R completes the initialization
Procedure #2.
Key Initialization
If the BC1 rolling key code becomes out of step with the remote key, synchronization is required. The
synchronization procedure can be carried out in two ways:
1. Press either the remote key lock or unlock button four times in succession.
2. With the car unlocked, switch on the ignition briefly and then off and remove the key, now within 10-
seconds press the lock and unlock buttons in succession.
It is not necessary to synchronize all the keys together. As the key codes are stored in the BC1, the
synchronization procedure is simply aligning the rolling code in the BC1 to the individual key and will not
affect any additional keys
Versuch es erstmal ein paar mal, mit allen möglichen Kombinationen.
Ich würde mal den spiegel zerlegen die hatten Probleme mit den Empfänger im Spiegel der war bei dem 2005er Cab meiner Stiefmutter auch defekt, BMW hatte ihr aber schon nen neuen Schlüssel verkauft und dann ganz blöd geschaut! Ich habe dann einen gebrauchen spiegel gekauft und die Platine umgebaut.

Ini brachte nichts. Jetzt habe ich das Empfängermodul gegen ein neues gerät getauscht. Keine Reaktion.
Somit ist wohl der Schlüssel an sich hin...
Die Schlüssel von den Prefaceliftmodellen müssen über dem Barcode angemeldet werden. Bei Neufahrzeugkauf erhält der Kunde diesen Barcode zusammen mit den Fahrzeugpapieren und -schlüsseln. Geht dieser im Laufe der Jahre oder bei nachfolgenden Besitzern verloren, kann dieser beim Vertragshändler bzw. der Niederlassung über das Sytem PuMa abgefragt werden. Dann kann die Werkstatt über den Tester den Schlüssel neu anmelden.
