I started a new thread because the other one was getting large and I wanted to make sure everyone had a chance to see it and not get lost in the mix. So here goes..My first try at a How-To..........

First clean the lens of all dirt, wax, etc


Second measure the tint to fit the whole lens. Don't under cut or you will waste the piece


Third spray the lens with a soap and water mixture. Only add a few drops of soap to make it slick. Not to soapy.

Fouth now spray the glue side of the tint with the same mixture of soap and water

5. Now place the tint onto the lens and squeege as flat as you can. Be easy with it.Start in the center and work it towards the edge.

6. Now get a blow dryer and heat up the tint carefully. Not to close. As your doing that squeege any bubbles that were left. They should be on the edges. If not start again at #4. Add more water and squeege again.

7. After step #6 is completed get a razor knife and trim the extra tint. Be carefull not to trim to close to the paint. You may use the squeege as a guide.

8. Almost done. Only do half at a time. Peel off the and repeat the othe side carefully

9. Finished. Now repeat for the other side and enjoy the look

The total cost for the film was about $30.00. And the total time is about 20 minutes for the whole job. Just remember that if you mess up you can remove the film and start over. Any questions please let me know and I will help out best I can. Good Luck. Its not that hard.

Vergiss es - wird hier nicht zugelassen!
Ist ja fast wie früher, als man sich die Rückleuchten schwarz angemalt oder lackiert hat.
..... nicht Dein Ernst, oder?

Komplette Rückleuchten in schwarz Kommen bestimmt bald mal mit TÜV auf`n Markt - von in-pro oder hella.
