the rule as I got it states, no loose objects IN car, so if you have a bulletcamera on your car outside and the recorder on the inside your trunk its quite ok.that's at least what we were told.
in case of accident, and you don't have a helmet on, a loose window mounted camera or other loose objects in car would be very bad.
filming accidents and putting them on net however is not popular though.

ahhh! very cool! I keep ketting lots of messages here and in pms saying they I've talked with them which I think is very nice, mini owners really are friendly and helpful in germany I must say!
thank you very much for pointing out the missing heatshield I am fixing the heatshield now and getting an oil cooler as well, should fix some of my problems.

It doesn´t matter which type of cam you´re using. The Nürburgring GmbH don´t want people to film while the Tourist-drives, because they think people might go faster as they would normally. They don´t want you to drive a race.
Another aspect might be the financial side. If you get Vids for free, who would buy official vids?
