Dear Sir or Madam,

last weekend, my son and I visited your "Circus Maximus" here in Vienna. It was part of my son's birthdaypresent, and so I accepted the, in my humble opinion, expensive ticket. "It will be worth all the money" I thought by myself. After waiting for 20 minuites to get into the Circus, we were finally guided to our seats. I was pretty disappointed, when I saw that the seats we were brought to. They were not only in the back but also behind a huge tentmast. You can imagine, that my son was not really happy about this fact. After waiting another 20 minuites, the show began. Half an hour too late. My son had already finished is popcorn, bored while waiting for the show. So I bought a second bag of popcorn. Also overpriced. "It's my son's birthdaypresent, don't forget it!", I repeated instantly in my mind. So I payed again 5eur for this very small bag of popcorn.
Finally, the show began. The circusdirector's german was so bad and had such a heavy english accent, that it was almost impossible for my 11 year old son to understand him. This is, by the way, the reason, why I'm writing this letter in english to you. So I had to translate everything simultainiously to my little son. The first act were the clowns. The tall thin one and the fat small one were -not- funny. Nobody in the tent laughed, expect the clowns themselves. The ponyshow, which followed the clowns was okay, but the ponies were in a really poor condition. I really don't want to know how they are treated and what kind of food they get. The acrobats, which were the first act after the break, couldn't rise my spirits, too. All the stunts they preformed I can see everyday at home when I watch my son and his friends strolling around. The only difference at home is the missing net between the "acrobats" and the ground. The tricks, the magician showed us were okay and the only performance I really liked and my son also enjoyed.
If i sum up everything, I've to say that the shown things were definitly inadequate if you look at your prices. Take this letter as a base for improvements on your ticket pricing or on the actors.

Regards,
Astrid
