Mal ehrlich lieber 4 wochen bortschsch als einmal haggis...
ich hab schon öfters englisch (haggis ist schottisch) und mit russen russisch gegessen.
Das Essen ist wirklich nicht schlecht. Z.B. Pelmeniki: sind die russische Variante der schwäbischen Maultaschen.
Schmeckt ! Das problem sind eher die wasserglässer und der wasserkrug auf dem tisch...wenn du`s nicht gewöhnt
bist und ne flasche vodka ++ intus hast geht`S dir nicht wirklich gut...

Most of us here do not want it in the UK

why

Rubbish weather
Expensive, warm beer
Expensive hotels

and we would prefer to travel to Main land Europe to meet our friends as it is easier for the few to go to Main land Europe, than the many MINI people to come over to Grey Land.

do you really think so? UK is the home country of MINI. therefore many MINI enthusiast from the the continent would like to go to the "place of birth" of their MINI. i had only positive experiences in the UK.
