Hello all, I'm new here on the forum and I have a question. I hope it is OK to take it in English since I'm from Schweden und spricht nür ein bisschen Deutsch.

Here in Sweden the dealers charge you a lot for the JCW engine kit for the R56 MCS - almost twice the money compared to, for instance, dealers in England. I have planned to take the MINI for a roadtrip to Nurburgring and thaught I might as well get the JCW Engine Tuning done in Germany when I'm there.

Does anyone know how much the dealers generally charge you for the kit installed in Germany? And could you recommend any dealer in the northern part of Germany?

Hey Robert,

welcome to the funny farm ..err.. forums
English is no problem at all

The JCW Kit for the R56 MCS is usually around 1900 (+/-100) Euro incl. installation in Germany.

As I'm closer to the 'ring, than the northern border, I can't recommend a dealer in nothern Germany, but maybe some of our northern members will chime in.

Let us know before you start to the 'ring, maybe we could meet up.

I will have to take a look then. If it is possible to have the kit all in all for about 1,800 Euros then my trip down to Germany would almost be "paid" for by itself.

I will of course drop a note to check if some members here are going to the ring at the same weekend.
