kann ich mir nicht so recht vorstellen, da maui keine scheinwerfer nachrüstet sondern nur neue in einzelteilen verklebt.. und die neuen sind natürlich fl sw und keine prefl

aber ich hab ihn auch mal gefragt.

meine auch das sie von maui sind!
habe mich mit 0815hardware da noch am samstag drüber unterhalten und es so von ihm verstanden.

es gibt da nette anleitungen für diese Modifikation in einschlägigen englischsprachigen foren (MINI2, NAM, M|U)

Da wird das Schweinwerferglas entfernt und das Innengehäuse lackiert

na wie das funktioniert war mir schon klar nur leider hab ich weder bei mini2 noch bei nam entsprechende anleitungen gefunden. nur bei nam einen thread wo jemand nach einer solchen anleitung gesucht hat

ich nehm jetzt mal an das des heir die eignetliche anleitung ist?
For the fronts, facelift version:
1-remove lights from car
2-remove al bulbs and igniters
3-remove headlight washers and covers
4-remove trim rings, this is actually the hardest part without breaking them.
5-Set oven to 230 degrees
6-heat on cookie sheet for 6 minutes
7-wearing gloves pry the lens off. Just work around the edges and it will slowly give, No tools needed
8-removechrome bits you want to paint
9-use tilt adjustment screws to aim HID as low as possible to be able to pop the chrome surround off the HID projectors
10-paint with regular old Krylon fusion in the color of your choice, Satin finish recommended here
11-allow to dry
12-reassemble
13-reheat to 230 for 6 minutes
14-press lens back on after making sure all finger prints are removed
15-re install bulbs, rings and back on car
16-re-aim the assemblies
17-enjoy!

1: Lampen abbauen
2: Alle Lampen und Zündvorrichtungen entfernen
3: Waschdüsen entfernen
4: Chromring entfernen, das ist wohl der schwierigste Part
5: Ofen auf 230 Grad stellen (vorheizen?)
6: 6 Minuten in den Backofen
7: Mit Handschuhen langsam das Glas lösen, ist wohl ohne Werkzeug machbar
8: Das Teil, was lackiert werden soll, rausnehmen

9: benutze Höhenverstellbare Schrauben (?) ...
10: mit normaler Krylon Farbe (?) besprühen/bemalen ....

11: trocknen lassen
12: wieder zusammenbauen
13: wieder für 6min in den 230grad warmen Ofen
14: Glas wieder andrücken, vorher sicher sein das alle Fingerabdrücke weg sind
15: Birne, Zündvorrichtungen etc. wieder einbauen
16: Komponenten wieder einstellen und wieder einbauen
17: Spaß haben


bei 9: und 10: hatte ich so leicht meine Probleme! müsste ich mir nochmal in Ruhe angucken! So wirklich "TÜV-Konform" klingt das allerdings nicht!

zu 9: man soll die Höhenjustierung der Scheinwerfer runterstellen, damit man den Zierring um die Xenonlinse ausklipsen kann.
