Ich will ja auch keinen Stress machen, aber ich tu's trotzdem.

I'm not in Australia, but the state I lived in here mandated E-10. My MCSC didn't really like it, had cold start problems. To avoid that, I switched to 87 octane and tolerated the lower fuel mileage.

Der Typ, der's schreibt, kommt aus Las Vegas.
Scheint also, als ob sein MINI das Ethanol nicht so mag.
(Laut seinem Profil, hat er einen Cooper S der ersten Generation)
Würde bedeuten, der Chysler-Motor mit Kompressor ist u.U. nicht E10-tauglich.
Dies wäre auch nicht unbedingt im Widerspruch zu JohnWorks76 Aussage, dass alle Motoren der BMW Group ab 1978 das E10 vertragen.
