The menu is closed everytime you shut off your engine. You can't swap while driving; you can escape the menu by pressing the button for about 5 seconds.
Everytime you start your engine you have to unlock the menu by option 19. Or not if you want to use one of the menus who is seen directly (e.g. 2 or 6 (by some even these menu's are hidden))
