Mickey and MINI 8 will be held at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort from September 28-30, 2012!

Mickey and MINI is an annual event held near Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida in the Fall. MINI and non-motoring events take place at Disney and the surrounding attractions. Past events have included car shows, rallies, scavenger hunts, scenic drives, winery tours, dinner theatre, go-kart riding, miniature golf, and more. The event takes place during the annual Epcot Food & Wine Festival and the weekend includes Drinking Around the World for those who enjoy sampling the food and drink from various countries.

During Mickey and MINI, Sunshine MINIs holds its annual dinner. Brush up on your MINI knowledge because MINI Trivia will be back this year! There will also be a silent auction for our adopted charities. Florida MINI dealers sponsored dinners, events, and prizes. MINI vendors from the Southeast will be on-hand to give advice and install parts to make it look better and go faster.

Please think about making a Florida vacation in the Fall and attending the largest MINI meet in the Southeast United States. We would love to make this an international meet.

We are happy to announce and debut the shirt designs for Mickey and MINI 8. The quality shirts will be available in purple and white in both regular/men’s and women’s styles.

The shirts will be included in the Deluxe Registration package or can be purchased separately. Watch for Registration to open this Friday and a shirt order form soon after. Prices will be announced at that time.

Shirts will be delivered at Mickey and MINI 8 or mailed to those unable to attend (for an extra shipping fee).

Registration for Mickey and MINI 8 is now open!

You can register for the $10 Basic Registration or the $25 Deluxe Registration which gets you a cool MM8 shirt.

The form also lets you register for the Friday evening Welcome Dinner and Friday night go-karts.

Sign-up for the other activities will take place on the Sunshine MINIs forums. You will have the opportunity to purchase additional event shirts soon.

Once again we offer the highly coveted Drinking Around the World shirts!


For Round 8, these high-quality shirts come in light blue. On the front-left side is the Official Sunshine MINIs Drinking Team Member logo. The back lists the 11 countries in Epcot with space to record your beverages. The slogan for DATW8 is “Eight, Drank and Became Merry”.


Proceeds from the sale of the DATW shirts will benefit the Wolfson Children’s Hospital in memory of Ryen Neal and Alzheimer’s research in the memory of Beckie Romnes.
