Mit dieser Farbkombination wird der neue MINI Countryman Boardwalk auf jeder Fahrt zu einem stilvollen Blickfang. Der Name des Editionsmodells nimmt Bezug auf die Promenaden traditionsreicher Seebäder in der britischen Heimat der Marke MINI. Die oftmals kilometerlangen Spazierwege, die Kurorte miteinander verbinden und als Zugang zu den ebenfalls typisch englischen Seebrücken dienen, waren ursprünglich die bevorzugte Bühne für große gesellschaftliche Auftritte. Das charakteristische Muster der längs und diagonal auf den Promenaden verlegten Holzbalken diente nun als Inspiration für das Emblem der neuen Edition. Ein in Deep Laguna metallic und Schwarz metallic gehaltenes Streifenmuster mit dem Schriftzug „BOARDWALK“ ziert die als Side Scuttles bekannten Einfassungen der Seitenblinker. Muster und Aufschrift sind auch auf den Einstiegsleisten zu finden. Außerdem tragen die seitlichen Flanken des Dachs im Bereich der hinteren Seitenfenster und die Interieurleiste auf der Beifahrerseite jeweils ein Logo mit dem Namen des Editionsmodells.

Two new limited edition MINI variants have been launched in New Zealand. With sleek dark treatment, the MINI Nightfall Edition 3-door Hatch and Convertible are both strikingly bold and confidently understated.

These latest special editions are based on the MINI John Cooper Works 3-Door Hatch and MINI John Cooper Works Convertible, both powered by tuned-up 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo engines developing 170kW and 320Nm, driving the front wheels via an 8-speed automatic.

The fixed roof pocket rocket completes the 0-100km/h sprint in just 6.1 seconds, and if you want that with wind in your hair, the same process takes just 0.4 seconds more.

The Nightfall Edition then douses both cars in darkness. Exteriors are finished in a deep Enigmatic Black Metallic, and all chrome surfaces such as the headlight covers, door handles and waistline finishers on the Hatch have been re-treated in Piano Black.

Both cars also feature a number of John Cooper Works upgrades, including a carbon fibre bonnet scoop, a John Cooper Works Sports Brake System upgrade, 17-inch Track spoke wheels finished in black and John Cooper Works tailpipe surrounds.

Edition specific badging and special blacked-out MINI logos complete the dark and bold exterior treatments to both Nightfall Edition MINI variants.

Inside, dark themes are extended on both cars with an Anthracite headlining (3-door Hatch only), piano black interior surfaces and carbon black Dinamica/Leather combination John Cooper Works sports seats.

John Cooper Works upgrades continue inside, and here drivers receive a tactile treat thanks to a John Cooper Works steering wheel finished in alcantara, as well as a John Cooper Works handbrake finished in carbon fibre.

MINI’s latest suite of interior technologies are showcased in both cars. Behind the steering wheel, a 5-inch digital screen replaces the traditional instrument binnacle, while the latest in infotainment, including wireless Apple Car Play connectivity, are shown in an 8.8-inch touchscreen monitor in the centre console.

Inspired by the historic rally winning model, this special edition Cooper S features the famous starting number 37 livery, body finished in Chili Red and a contrast white roof.

MINI launches the Paddy Hopkirk Edition, a limited edition of 100 cars available to order now in the UK and based on the MINI Cooper S 3-door Hatch. In honour of the Northern Irish rally driver and inspired by the historic rally winning model, the special edition is Chili Red with a white contrast roof and features the famous starting number 37 livery.

Patrick ‘Paddy’ Hopkirk clinched the first victory behind the wheel of the classic Mini Cooper S number 37 at the legendary Monte Carlo Rally in 1964. Driving the small British car with his English co-pilot Henry Liddon, Hopkirk overcame the odds against competitors with significantly greater engine power. The surprise win in Monte Carlo made Paddy Hopkirk the UK’s most famous rally driver overnight and the classic Mini advanced from outsider and crowd pleaser to becoming a motor racing legend. Hopkirk’s Finnish team mates Timo Mäkinen and Rauno Aaltonen added two more outright victories to the title collection in the Mini Cooper S 37 in 1965 and 1967.

The winning streak at the Monte Carlo Rally continues to inspire MINI fans all over the world to this day. HERITAGE AT ITS HEART

And for those who like their history - the first Mini Convertible came in only blue or red and had a 1.3-litres four-cylinder engine. It was twice the price of the Cooper 1.3i it was based on and Rover still managed to sell all 75 that were built.

The current MINI Convertible was launched in 2004 under new owners BMW. It’s now the best-selling convertible on the market and the 25th anniversary limited edition is bound to be a collector’s edition of the future.

As we enter into the summer months, the warm weather and longer evening’s mean we get to enjoy the outdoors that little bit more. And what better way to experience this beautiful weather than to get the roof down on a very unique JCW MINI Convertible.
Only 1 of 10

This gorgeous JCW Convertible is 1 of 10 in its colour in the UK, aptly named ‘Purple Silk’. The colour itself is one of a range called ‘Individual colours’ and I have to say, it gets a lot of attention! BMW and MINI UK commission batches of cars to be painted in specific colours and then allocate them to retailers across the country. So sadly there is currently no process to get MINI's painted with Individual colours when ordering a new build. So you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled for the beautifully bright and bold models on our social media pages.

Packs Galore

This particular model is also overflowing with optional extras! Equipped with the popular Chili Pack you’ll be kept nice and cool with the automatic dual zone control air conditioning. Rain sensor and automatic headlight activation, floor mats and interior lights pack and everyone’s favourite; rear parking sensors! The MINI Excitement pack is also a snazzy feature within the Chili pack which allows you to customise your LED interior lights with funky colours! On top of that you’ll have the MINI logo projection from the side mirrors when unlocking!

The Tech Pack being one of my favourite features that gives you the Harmon Kardon sound system along with MINI Connected which allows you to connect up your mobile devise and blast out some summer tunes. It also gives you the option to make and receive hands-free phone calls, useful for when you need to tell work you’re stuck in traffic and might be a little late, but in reality, you took the scenic route with the good driving roads… not that I’ve ever done that!

It also has the Media Pack for your navigational needs and enhanced Bluetooth features, something many people heavily rely on these days. With the sat nav’s ease and simplicity of use, it’s excellent when finding your way out of the bustling city and heading on that weekend road trip to the beach with the family or the dog.

Roof Up, Roof Down or Sun Roof?

Although the car is quite obviously a Convertible, you don’t have to settle for the completely up or completely down option that comes with most soft top cars. If you don’t fancy messing up your hair but just as equally don’t want to shut out the sun, you have a secondary option to slide the roof open half way like you would with a sunroof on a hatch. An option I’m quite grateful for considering how long it takes to do my hair! It also boasts to be the fastest electric soft top on the market so you can whip it down when waiting for the lights to change! Also great for our indecisive British weather.

The MINI Convertible Pack compliments the car beautifully giving you a range of what are usually individual added extras all in one neat little pack. The heated seats are great for when you’re feeling daring on those blue sky winter mornings along with the self-explanatory wind deflector. The comfort access system for those who can never find their keys but know they are somewhere in that oversized handbag or that jacket with 23 pockets. And last but not least, the always open timer…just incase you need to check how long you’ve been catching some rays! All these thoughtfully designed features are just a handful I’ve chosen to highlight, rest assured, there’s many more!

Sticks to the road

As for the drive itself? Well it’s a car I’d highly recommend you take for a test drive! Its sporty exterior immediately gives you a feel for what’s to come. It’s beautifully finished MINI Yours Leather interior gives you comfort and class all at the same time. It’s surprisingly roomy boot allows you to pack it to the max with holiday gear or simply your weekly food shop. Most importantly, the car is capable of your everyday needs of travelling from A to B but has the capability of unleashing that go kart racing feel when you need an adrenaline rush.

MINI Yours Lounge Leather and the MINI Yours Sport Leather Steering Wheel uses superior leather that is carefully selected. Rich details complete an artisan feel on both pieces.

The seats are adorned with braided welt trim, a union jack signet, MINI Yours emblazoned patch which is then stitched on, Union Jack headrests, and the steering wheel is hand-finished with aluminum-colored contrast stitching.

MINI has whipped a fair-trade Peruvian cotton sheet off its latest model this morning in Hoxton, London. Featuring Instagram filtered windows, Twin-deck cassette player and a fixed-gear drivetrain, the new MINI Hipster Hatch launches today.

Avant-garde and upcycled, the MINI Hipster Hatch is effortlessly stylish and the perfect companion for a spot of vintage clothes shopping, or indeed the odd trip to the market for artisan kale.
Motorists no longer have to settle for the natural colour of their surroundings (#nofilter), thanks to the exclusive and fully adjustable Instagram filter on all exterior window glass. Live life in LO-FI. Or Clarendon. Or Crema. In fact, occupants can choose from 12 pre-loaded Instagram window filters and turn any journey into a nostalgic memory at the touch of a button.

The new MINI Hipster Hatch has just one forward gear with a maximum speed of 25 mph. Taking inspiration from the ‘Fixie’ pedal bike, four of the forward gears have been removed to give the driver a greater feeling of control when popping out for a superfood smoothie.

The stonewash denim upholstery means the four seater MINI Hipster Hatch is a match for even the tightest pair of jeans, allowing the driver and passengers to coordinate their outfits accordingly.

Inside, a twin-deck cassette player harks back to when it was all about the music, allowing occupants to sidestep the mainstream with their own mixtapes. On the outside, MINI Hipster Hatch boasts alloy wheels carefully upcycled by hand from previous alloy wheels.
