Rum Cake / Rum Kuchen
Cake:
1 box Pudding-in-the-mix Yellow Cake mix.
1/2 cup Rum
1/2 cup Orange juice
1/2 cup Oil
4 Eggs
Mix. Preheat oven to 325'F (160C).
Pour batter into a greased bundt pan.
Bake about 40 minutes.
Glaze:
3/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Rum
1 stick Butter
Mix rum and sugar. Bring to boil.
Boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in butter until melted.
Pour over cake straight from oven.
After 30 minutes, remove from pan.
Cake is best after 24 hours.
