the stock brakes on the S really is a disaster, so bad
good there are so many nice aftermarket kits like the tarox
the first time I tried my car on the ring I was very mad, even with stock power they would fade into lap 2! then I tried with 19% pulley, could barely get 1. also tried on local small tracks here in norway, then I bought a BBK with bigger multiple piston calipers and much bigger pads together with full floating rotors, all in all it was only 1KG heavier per wheel and I haven't gotten any fadeing, EVER since the change, I have also measured the brake fluid, it still has 0% water, on the stock fluid it would go to 2-3% after just a track day :|
bigger brakes is a must for ringracing and racing in general
killing stock often is very expensive compared to changeing pads every now and then. since the new calipers has much bigger pads they don't get worn very much either, so a frontset will last very very long.
