Hiya guys,
My name is Coen de korte
I am on this forum reading and buying stuff for a few years now..
time to start a "showroom"

after I finished the last project (#9):


I went "back" to the R53.
I was looking for a good, fair and standard Mini cooper S R53.
After a few days I found some dealer who really wanted to buy my R56s and had a 1st owner R53 in the showroom.. he made me an offer I couldn't refuse so things went pretty fast.
I am still waiting for some parts to come in but I have started slowly with modding.
This is how it looked when bought.




I must say I was not very happy with the white roof but I will change this in time..
The Sspokes went to the R56 and I have now these temporarly BBS RD wheels




Then I took of the rear wiper, logo's and a smaller Alta antenna



Also the white bonnet stripes had to go


Just had a small mod done to the airbox... for more cool air + little more SC noise..ehm music



I will keep you guys in the loop about the mods being done.
I hope to have my new camber plates in tomorrow so I can fit my coilovers this friday so I can fit My vsxx ezfida's

Obvious things that are being modded are:
exhaust,
brakes,
bumpers + skirts,
spoiler,
splitter,
pully,
TMIC,
etc
I hope I can mod this more slowly then the previous cars so I can enjoy it more!:blushing:

It would give me a lot of heartache to sell such a car.
I hope you´ll build a really nice car similar to your blue one.

Did you at least sold the car to a Mini Entusiasm? It would be
gloomy if a 18 year young new rich will ruin that car, because
he or she would like to have a nice beginner car.

Selling your car is like splitting up with your g/f, once she is gone, anything can happen to her

Always expect the worst, if you cannot handle the thought - then dumping her was the wrong decision

the R56S was finished.. so I had to have a new project...
It went back to completely standard and then to a dealer

back to the R53 again

Just had my coilovers fixed do fit R53 again
new springs with heavier springs..
New oil,
New camber plates,
New rear shock bushes.
+ work vsxx
+ m7 ram scoop
